I'm sorry to disappoint some of you, but I am really not another member under a different nickname. If I'm serious about one thing, it's this one.

find something geek-related and become a fanatical expert at that. For example, expert at ballroom dancing = not geek. Expert at the physics of ballroom dancing = geek.

Oh yeah: I think quantum physics will be it. I love that stuff.

Things don't exist until they are observed. Or more specifically, things exist in all possible states until you collapse them into one state by observing them.

Now THAT's geeky.

I suggest you read this book.

Excellent. I love Michio Kaku. Actually, when I said I don't read geek books, I was wrong. I love reading Kaku's books.

All you need now is a t-shirt that says Michio Kaku > Bill Nye > Chuck Norris

Put a Moderator quote in your sig. All the geeks/nerds do that sort of thing here. Actually, that would be the second most geeky thing to do next to putting PC specs in your sig. Give it a shot!

Just be yourself. Trying to be someone/something you're not is weak.

Oh oh oh! Am I a geek? Please, I love to be judged by people I've never met!

- hate comics
- love fantasy books
- love sci-fi tv shows, incl star trek
- married with hot wife so not virgin
- spend too much time on pcs, playing games
- have an IT job
- solid build, neither fat nor skinny
- love watching sport, but don't play it much

Judge me, o anandtech.
