The most bogus bullshit ever. I used to work with a guy whos wife cheated on him then left him, took the kids, house everything. He now pays her 60% of his pay check so she can keep up her "standard of living" with the kids, while his new family gets 40% of his paycheck. How the FUCK does that make sense? Stupid bitch works and makes almost as much as he does as well. Seriously I would never get married with out a prenump, I don't give a fuck if the bitch makes more than I do, never ever would I get married and lose half(or more) of my shit if I got divorced.

In this day and age, there's very little reason for a man to get married. Men have more to lose than women do. Sad that all these stupid feminists don't fight for equality on this. Alimony is so damn stupid in today's age.

My older brother is going through the same thing. His ex-wife cheated on him twice because she was a bored stay-at-home mother while he was pulling OT shift to support the family. They have joint custody of two kids but she gets the house (with new boyfriend in tow). While divorce is not finalize, she's going after alimony, his pension and requesting money for school. And of course to keep up with her standard of living she can't possibly take any part of the credit card debt they had accrued living together. Gender equality is an illusion when it comes to divorce. There are many divorce men who would pray for a 50/50 split.

I'm never gonna get married.. If I want kids.. I 'll just adopt.. passing down your genes is a stupid illusion.. we've GOT the gene pool, one person changes little and won't really contribute much new material... What's really important, and should be passed down, are the lessons learned in life.. and with or without a wife,, I can do that...

higher a grandma baby sitter, and adopt some kids.. THAT'S the way you pass down your legacy..

And the cost is the same..

Boy got off easy. He's still got millions. It's when you're middle class shit hits you hard. Imagine making 100K and taxes knock that down to 60K then you got $2000 a month child support. Do the math and enjoy apartment living while you're at it.

For $55k/month plus 3/4 of a mil...I'd be ok with that. Hell, I'd let him choke me a few times just to make sure he got his money's worth.
