theres a fake irish pub across the street that had terrible F&C last time i was there, and also a mcdonalds.... arghhh 🙁
 
You can make good fish and chips at home - it isn't complicated. You can use any white fish really, I prefer cod. We already have what the Brits refer to as chips in the States. We call them "steak fries." You can buy them frozen or just make them yourself.

Fish and chips has to be about the easiest meal on the planet to cook and I guarantee you can make a batch at home that will rival any pub or fish stand you may encounter across the pond.

just bought a large order of MCD FF for 2.15$. I think, value wise, I could have gotten more FF with 2 small orders for 1$ each.

The fake irish pub opened 1 month ago. I went there on opening week, and 50% of the fish pieces were petrified

I always wondered why they have malt vinegar at Five Guys. Are you just supposed to pour it all over the "chips"? Is it supposed to be used instead of salt & pepper, or in addition to them?
