I want POP3 access to my GMail...

I would like to install PGTGM (pop goes the gmail) but am so wary of installing Microsoft's .NET stuff... who knows what all lurks inside 20 megabytes of downloads ...!!

anyone know another freeware solution that does not involve this scary microsoft stuff???

Nothing wrong with .NET. I've been programming .NET since March of 2003 and haven't seen a problem that would give credit to your paranoia.

I recently installed .Net so I could use ATI's new Catalyst Control Center...works fine for me.
