Are you in the middle of any transactions with anyone? If so, I don't think the mods would agree to something like this. Hell, they probably won't agree to it at all just for security sake
 
The problem that you are having will blow over shortly.

Ride it out.

Failing that, just log out and don't log back in. There is no need to delete the account.

Agreed. If you're still having problems with that member even after the thread was locked, then PM a mod and let them know about it.
