I have no idea when the new MSI N-Force 2 based motherboards (the ones with the IGP) will be available (mid Jan. is a bit vague...). I'm inlove with those boards, but i dunno if i should wait for um or just buy the leadtech board... I e-mailed MSI, but they'll probably take their time responding, and i NEED a new computer ASAP!

Please help...
Thanx a bunch.
me

It's In Stock here in Canada. I'm thinking about getting one too, since my k7 Master seems to have bitten it. :( This k7n sounds sweet enough to make me forget it though! :)

so do u think it'll be available in other places soon (like...say in 1 or 2 days...)? i really NEED that board. Vcards r 2 expensive at the moment. im waiting 4 the price drop that'll occur after the GF FX is released...then i'll b able 2 buy the Radeon 9500/9700 pro or the GF4 Ti4*** for a decent price!

I guess you realize that the onboard video is more than likely going to boost the price as much as a separate video card of the same level, and that the motherboards will be priced at a premium when they first show up. And that the onboard video won't measure up to a Geforce4 MX? If you've got an acceptible video card, you'd do better using that while you are waiting for a 9700 price drop.

decent Vcard? HA!:disgust:
there are 2 systems in my house. both started 2 fall apart after a few years, so i had 2 take them both appart and usde the working components 2 put some kind of computer 2gether that would lst long enough, till i buy a new system.
so no, i don't have a decent Vcard. what i DO have is a 2 Mb Vcard that's like 5 years old... anyway, the GF4mx should suffice 4 a long time, since it'll b such a big improvment...
as for the price, well, first of all i managed 2 cut that down 2 a minimum. and second, buting an IGP mobo will be cheaper than buying an spp mobo and a Vcard seperately.
