I want lower temps and less noise

I have a watercooling setup (as pictured in this thread) with a Cooling Cube attached to a 120mm fan (exhausing the case)

I'm wonding if using this rad would be better. I can put it in the front of the case (where I can put two 80mm fans) so I'll have cool air coming in and blowing on the rad. I could then put the resivoir on top of the psu (or on top of one of the CD drives) and put a 92mm exhaust fan above the psu. It seems to me that did that I'd get lower temps and less noise.

What do you think?

Why not try a quiter 120mm fan? Panaflo fans are pretty quite. I have a few that arnt the quitest and they are quiter than most the 80mms i have. The advantage of using the 120mm is not having to spin as fast to move more air. Another trick you could try is to use 7 volts to the fan. Use the +5v for your negative and the +12v for the positive. This will slow the 120mm fan you have significantly and give you less air, but might not hurt your cooling efforts much. All you can do is try...

BTW thats a big 'ole case of whoop azz you got there!

Another thing I have noticed. I just bought an Antec SX1040. The way the sides clamp on seals it better. There is no air or noise coming through holes in the sides becasue there is no hole. Allt he air flows from the front of the case. IMO its better because you can fit some filters before the front intake fans to help keep dust out, but who keeps the stuff in there long enough to collect dust anyways;)

I think one of my 120mm fans is a Panaflo. I have considered that case, but I wouldn't know where to put the rad and res. I really want to avoid case modding.

That is A cool setup .
Thermodynamics is really interesting almost counter intuitive at times.
Do you have a flow restrictor on the return pipe from the radiator ?
It would slow the rate of flow thru the radiator and allow the coolant a greater temp. drop
If flow is to fast thru Heat Exchanger very little heat will be dissipatted.

A larger fan will not necessarilly cool your case better.

I have an Antec SX1030 and it has two removable racks for hard drives.
One those removable rack has a 80mm fan spacer in it .
so you can snap a fan infront of the hard drives.
If you got a different sized Heat Exchanger,"radiator", that would fit in that spaceit would hae its own fan.
you may also be able to find a more efficent heat exchanger .
