I want everyone on earth to join a facebook community that represents the year they were born and the city that they live.

I'm going to try to create a '1994 Los Angeles' community and put up posters about it around Los angeles so i can keep in touch with more people my age and I think it would be so cool if everyone did this.

I also think it would be cool if people created sports teams made in their year and play against other cities such as, 1994 Los Angeles basketball team vs 1994 San Diego basketball team!

What do you guys think?

I don't think you can take someone's identity by just knowing the year they were born and the city that they live in......you can look up any famous person and know that.

I have no interest in contact with someone just because they've been born in the same year and are from the same village/town/city/region. If you are still in contact with everyone that was in the same classes as you in school then maybe you feel the need, but if not then why would you get in touch with even more people you have nothing in common with except those two meaningless statistics?

Pretty much my feeling exactly. I pick friends based on whether they are nice first of all, and having stuff in common (interests, not location or age) is a big plus. But their exact age or where they were born I really couldn't care less about.

Oh, and I have no interest in watching sports.
