I want another Tacoma :/

I think if you are going to go with a truck then the forester has to go. The MR2 has too much blood sweat and tears to let it go at this point.

The CTS-V is your daily and can haul people comfortably.
SV650 is a toss up, you live in AZ where I hear the roads are wonderful and can ride alot more of the year than most of the country.

Depending on how much you can get out of it, I would probably just keep it and enjoy the roads out there for a year to see if you like it or not.

But most definitely the Forester has to go if you get the taco... I would assume that after taxes/fees etc. if you sold the Forester and bought that taco you would be able to come out ahead.

Sell SV650 to bank a little more, you still have toy car, pimp daily ride, and some truck action in the badlands

That's ridiculous. Most of what people own is based on want. I could be driving a 1989 Corolla everywhere, but I don't. Why? Because I want something nicer/newer/faster/better.

Toyota bought my truck back in 2008 and I've missed it ever since.

Why did you decide to buy the Tundra instead of another Tacoma? I'll bet there were some emotions involved and you've regretted it ever since.

Because Tacomas are stupid expensive around here. JLee could have easily paid more for a 2004 Tacoma with more miles than his 2004 CTSV in comparable (but slightly worse) condition.

I bought the Tundra because it was cheaper than a Tacoma and also more capable. Logic and reason got me a truck I drove for 3 years and didn't enjoy.

Those 90's Tacomas were gold. I love those trucks. Pretty much any compact truck was pretty good in the 90's actually, but the Tacoma was really good. Buddy had a 2003 Dakota that was an awesome truck too. Compact trucks have gotten so little love over the past 10-20 years though, they really stagnated.

I prefer styling from the 90s as well in small trucks. Hell BMW, MB, VAG, etc as well.

Isn't it very redundant having both a sports car and a sport sedan? In fact, what's the point of a mid engined sports car if it feels slow in comparison to your other car??

Trucks are more fun, Can potentially save big $$ (delivery of firewood, furniture, moving, errands to home depot, etc..), and retain their value very well, built much tougher. I won't own another car for myself.

Lol the MR2 is much faster than the V.

The MR2 is the no comprimise endless project go fast car. The CTS-V is more a "beater" or daily driver that just happens to be no slouch on it's own.

I understand. I miss my 2005 Tacoma from time to time and pine after another Tacoma or a Jeep...but then I remember how it drove like shit and how much more I enjoy my M3.

In a perfect world, I woud love to have my M3 (or maybe even something more impractical) and a Tacoma or Jeep...but I can barely justify owning a car, let alone 2 (my wife already has an A4 which I regularly use as a DD since she rarely leaves the house on her own).

That truck would be like 10k where I live. They are fucking ridiculously expensive here because every highschool kid drives one. The parents are smart to get them though, phenomenal truck that you can't really break.

Yeah, when I was 14 I rolled one on a muddy road. Slick tires, going to fast, and novice driver. It rolled once and landed back on its wheels, I got out and threw the camper shell back on and drove off. Got about a mile down the road and lost air in 2 tires due to breaking the beads when I hit the bank sideways. About half an hour after I rolled it, I show the vehicle to an acquaintance and they commented on how it was a good looking vehicle, they didn't even notice it had been rolled until I told them. Ended up selling the truck for 1k less that it was purchased for. It still drives today.

Consider that in 2007 I sold my dad's '89 Toyota; regular cab, 5-speed, 2wd, no options for $4500 with 100k on the clock. Talk about overpriced but hey, someone was willing to pay the price.
