how would I go about importing one of those lol?

only importer I see online that deals with them imports to NZ....

anyone know if these are street legal in the US?

I remember it from Top Gear. Quite a wicked fast car!

If you have an Xbox, this car was available in Project Gotham Racing 2, the Long Island Booster Pack. Unfortunately, it isn't supercharged and isn't very good. Alot of understeer until you hit the throttle, causing the tires to spin and then gets into oversteer. Eventually the oversteer would correct the understeer, and you would be set until the next corner. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't anything special. Again, this is only the video game, and it wasn't supercharged like the one on Top Gear. The one in PGR2 might have been an earlier version of the vehicle.

I'm not sure how you would import one, and I'm not sure if they're street legal in the US. I have a hard time believeing it would pass many of the crash tests required by US Law. However, if you are truly interested, I suggest visiting their webpage, and giving them a call. They could provide much much much more information than anyone on ATOT could.

yeah, but I don't have the money right now....

not worth the phone call.... but I definitley want to try to get one of these after I get a house.....

To be street legal it must be safety tested, which costs manufacturers a pretty penny. You literally have to crash it multiple times. That's why a skyline costs 80k-100k in USA, AFAIK only one company has put the money in to import and crash some

then how are handmade cars certified?

I really don't know the answer to that. I would assume that they have a license to develop, build, sell, and drive these vehicles just as any manufacturer does.
