"I bought a used car to get us through the snow today and I used the leftover money to feed 10 families in Africa for a year. Please don't hate me."
OT: I actually did a paper on this recently. According to the BBC, the poverty level in Kenya is $1/day, which the majority of Kenyans live below. So if you assume a family of four, 40k would actually feed about 28 families for a year😉

brigden, I don't mean to annoy you further, but you really invite criticism when you ask about spending an exorbitant amound of money without explanation, money that one would logically assume you could not have earned yourself.

do NOT go for a Range Rover, those things are unreliable POSs, ask most british people and they will tell you the same. hell, even Jeremy Clarkson says they are unreliable. (btw, i'm talking from experience, because our Range Rover needs some kind of work on it's hydraulics every few months because it gets fuscked up)

- car for two
- money is no object
- top-quality interior
- fuel economy and insurance is no object
- comfy and fun drive
- must have attractive exterior

...then one of your top two choices should be the SC 430.

Buy two, they're small (give the second one to me when you tire of it...)

i see you didn't read the two bolded requirements
i see you're perfectly happy with your Ford Focus

😛

HighQuality

LowerQuality

You could have compressed this or warned somebody. I did it anyway, but took almost three minutes to download. Maybe I should have tried low quality or not been so curious. NICE RIDE!

he wants a car that's a joy to drive, extremely reliable, capable in canadian winters.

you suggested a rear wheel drive convertible tub of lard made by a company with a reputation for crappy reliability.

nice one!

if it needs to be a joy to drive, extremely reliable, and good in the snow, you're looking at the Acura RL, Subara Legacy GT, Infinity FX45.

that's about it. pretty much every car out there is disqualifed from one of those catagories. The germans aren't reliable, most SUV's aren't fun to drive, and most other cars aren't good in the snow.

WTF? Someone can't earn enough money to purchase a $100,000 car? A lot of people earn enough money to do that.

I like the new Porsche Carrera S. 😀
good luck driving that in the winter.

I know. :frown:

Just get the steriod-fed one: Cayenne S

911's are awesome winter drivers.....all the weight directly over the tires....get the S with 19's for clearance and you should be fine except on the snowiest of days....the 911 is a better snow car then most front wheel drive vehicles...why do you think porsche always shows them off in their videos in the snow? Check out www.porsche.com and look....

Honda Civic. It's chronic lack of power will make it easy to drive in the winter.

rofl.

I'd say the Nissan Murano or the Infiniti FX35/45. The FX45 shares it's engine in the QX45, Q45, Nissan Titan and Nissan Armada. FX35 shares it's engine with the G35, I35, 350Z, Maxima, Altima and Quest.
