Seriously, though. Diets do not work unless they become your new eating habits on a fulltime basis. Too many people think that they can just choose a diet, lose tons of weight, then just go back to their old ways without the consequences.
All I would have to say is make an eating schedule, stick to it and don't snack in between. Try to have at least 3 of the 4 food groups in every meal so that you're not depriving your body. And it's a good idea to turn down seconds, it'll make a huge difference. Also, keep meal portions reasonable (ie. eat enough food for one instead of three...

).
