so i emailed my landlord and offered to pay an extra $50 a month if she'll let me have a kitty, is that a reasonable price?

Well are you looking for bulk kitty? In that case $50 wouldn't be bulk... I would think your kitty would need to be alternator-sized for that.

Uh, just get a cat and see what happens. Now you've tipped him off though, so its too late. You might have gotten away with less even if you already had the cat.

$50/month extra seems high for a cat. I would think $25/month or a flat $200 cleaning fee would be more reasonable.

you're ripping yourself off if you want to pay that much for kitty.

should be no more than 200 buck deposit; and even that seems more like dog deposit prices...

$50 pet rent, what a scam. Even a deposit is a scam since cats hardly do any wear or tear to the apartment. It's your personal stuff they like to trash and claw to death.
