secondly the negative adapters for flatbeds.... are crap....

if u want a cheap film scanner, go get a acer 2720, around 300 bucks, 2700dpi, 3.2dmax, very decent for that price...

I have an Acer Prisa 620UT I picked up from Best Buy for under $100. Great reflective scanner, and it does a decent job of scanning negatives and slides. My girlfriend is into photography, and uses it to preview her negatives before making prints.
