if you can't figure out phrasal verbs, perhaps there is somewhere else you can brush up on them. take off to your library, find a few books, and highlight every phrasal verb you find.

then back up to the beginning of the book and break down each highlighted phrasal verb to make sure you understand it.

but watch out for the librarian when she finds out you highlighted in the books 😀

When my father once was drunk, he had an accident driving his car. Not only did he bang his car up but also he did bang himself up
