I used to like Chevelle, until they ripped off the Deftones!

Has anyone noticed that the new single out by Chevelle "Send the Pain Below" sounds TOO MUCH like the Deftones song "Be Quiet And Drive?"

Chevelle clearly copied it, but did they get permission?!

Sorry I'm just pissed cause the Deftones are my favorite band 🙁

I'm a huge fan of both Chevelle and the Deftones, and I never really noticed the similarity. Send the Pain Below is an AWESOME song.

Just because two songs sound similar doesen't mean they "clearly" copied it.

I just listened to both songs..

The acoustic version of the deftones song since it was the only one that would download quickly from kazaa and then chevelle's song

Survey says, they sound nothing alike except they are both slow--except the chevelle song speeds up and gets hard. The chevelle song actually has words that are easy to understand and follow.. The deftones song is just a guy moaning like he is in pain.

EDit,, ok, I just heard the normal version.. and the beginning is somewhat alike.. but the song itself is totally different.

i could've sworn they sounded very very similiar. Must've been my imagination? Are you guys listening to the CD version of Be quiet and drive? The acoustic version is a lot different.
