I use Alcohol (isoproyl 70%) to clean everything... Is this a good idea or not?

I use it to clean my chairs, bathroom, sink, etc... I even throw it on my bedsheets to kill germs and pour it on my computer chair to kill the germs i bring in when i come back from school..

Is it harmful to throw so much alcohol everywhere aorund my room?
 
you are gonna dry out your chairs if they are wood. why would you wanna use alcohol when there are much cheaper but just as effective alternatives?

not really.. i just use it every now and then, perhaps twice a month doing a routine complete scrub down...

What is a routine complete scrub down? If scrubbing down is part of your routine you should seek counseling before it gets worse.

Why not just wash with bleach?

I'm sure there are things that are much more effective at disinfecting than rubbing alcohol.

But it isn't necessarily going to hurt anything.

Help me form the mental picture here... you pour it onto your computer chair to remove germs you've picked up at school.. meaning that you then sit in the pool of alcohol??

I think I'd recommend an atomizer to mist your sheets with the alcohol to achieve a more subtle effect than just 'throwing' it on your sheets 🙂
