i updated the firmware for my cdrw and it screwed up my drive!

I upgraded the firmware for my plextor 24/10/40a and now i cant burn any cds! When i try to use the built in XP cd burning I get an error messgae. I try to drag and drop the audio files into the cdrw driectory and i get an error message saying "D:/ is not accesible. incorrect function". that little window that used to pop up when i put in a cd doesnt pop up now either....the one asking if you want to open a new folder. Please tell me i dont have to do a clean reinstall, I dont wanna have to go through that crap again!!
 
If you go here you'll see a list of available firmwares for download. Which one did you install? You could either try to download the latest one again and retry the flash or you could download an older firmware.

As spie34, you should really only upgrade firmwares when you are having problems otherwise you risk getting into the situation you are in now.
