I unshare my harddrives, but they become shared upon reboot.

I am trying to get someone's C and D drives from being unshared. It works, but when they reboot or relogin to the drives they become shared again, or atleast they appear to be shared.

yeah that windows doing it default admin shares thing. I don't think you can stop it from doing that, but i could be wrong.

.you could try uninstalling sharing in the network properties window and see if that works.

Unsharing the drives by going to the computer that has the drives, right clicking and using sharing option to unshare works for me every time. Do you still have the little hand underneath the drive letters on the pc with drives?
