I unlocked sempron 2400 now how do i change the multi

Hokay, i was bored and was like dayamn i want to change my multiplier, i so i went and unlocked it using the little L5 trick and now cpu-z thinks its an athlon xp lol and my little screen when it posts or whatever calls it unknown. anyway now that my multiplier is unlocked how do i make it higher, right now my sempron is at 2100Mhz, i set its fsb to 210. is this inefficient for my cpu:ram ratio? i want to set it either 200*11 or210*11 if its ratio efficient or 200*12 if it works. also my processor isnt breaking 40°C, ive got my fan at 5,800rpm its a nice thermaltake and my case is pretty cool(both ways). my bios wont let me change shit, but i guess ecs is shit. also it is a via chipset. so basically what can i do to change multiplier outside of bios. right now im pretty happy because my sempron is so fast, for a sempron

is it better to have a low multiplier to and high FSB so your ram is a little faster? or have high multi and low fsb so its easier on the ram. or do you need to find a balance. i had it at 204*10.5 when i went to post it crashed, so unstable for sure. right now im at 213*10. i think im going to to try 203*10.5

im at 201*10.5, so im pretty happy i took it from 1.6Ghz to 2.1Ghz. im pretty sure its stable. i had it at 203*10.5 with 5 applications of burnintest running and it crashed when i was typing in the this reply box. but it seems pretty stable now with 9(on the bar it says83) burnin test going so i think its stable

edit- it still isnt breaking 40°C

funniest of all it thinks im on an athlon xp mobile. why does it stop working after a certain point and it just crashes??? do i need to set a higher voltage??? i think its locked on my ecs "elite😛"group

ECS motherboards are not exactly known for their overclocking capabilities. 😉

Anyhow... check out this guide I wrote a while back. I put it in the guide, and I'll say it here too... if you screw something up and damage your hardware while following my guide, I'm not responsible. If you follow the guide there's no reason anything should be damaged though.
