I typed setup.exe and it says "this program cannot be run in DOS mode."

So I heard. I dont believe it though. Make sure you dont have a floppy in the floppy drive.

If you can't get it to boot, just run winnt.exe from the \i386 directory. Setup.exe is a windows file which is why it won't run from DOS. winnt.exe is a DOS file.

just do what bozo1 said, it's a fairly common mistake.
