Also, forgot this whole "6-pack" thing.

If you cut your total carbohydrate intake, specifically carbs that contains glucose, your body tends to using the fat stored in the adipose tissue surrounding your abdomen. It tends to be the first place, or one of the first places, your body will send fat if it is getting its fill of "immediate-energy" with carbs. Cut total carb intake, and the body will be forced to tap into the energy stores.

Almost everyone has abdominal muscles that will show the classic 6-pack definition, but they are obscured by a layer of engorged adipose tissue that sits on top of the abdominal wall. If you cut into that layer of fat, the muscles are more likely to become visible.

The big thing of exercise and nutrition in regards to showing massive and well-defined abdominal muscles, is a balance between building those muscles and keeping the fatty layer on them as minimal as possible. "Toning", or "increasing muscle definition", has less to do with increasing muscle mass, and more to do with cutting fat surrounding muscles.

That's certainly a good lifestyle choice, but if they're making excuses like "You just have better genes than me" then they obviously have no intention of emulating you. They've done the cost/benefit analysis for themselves and the result was different for them than it was for you. They may eventually reach the point where they are willing to make changes like that, but right now is apparently not that time.

I lost a lot of weight on a no carb diet a few years ago, but I like carbs too much. That was the 1 diet that I was on that as soon as I ended the diet the weight just came back. I'm more content just exercising regularly and calorie watch than be limited to what I can eat. I feel better this way too, cutting out a specific thing from my diet usually leave me feeling like shit.

And there's no need to do this for a man, men need energy to move heavy things and use our muscles. Just make sure you use it up before it goes to your love handles.

NO rice is self-sacrifice?

Hell, I go weeks without rice...and am glad to NOT have to eat the shit.

Here's a tip for you OP, quit trying to run everyone else's life and worry about your own.

Many if not most of you are the ones I will be trying to destroy, now that I'm on my path of evil...

This thread has convinced me to never preach good health again...

And NO it isn't some fucking fad, it WILL work for 90% of the Fatties out there, because chances are these fatties eat TONS of carbs..

Before I went on low carb,, i was 150-155, 5' 7" mostly fat. So no I wasn't a huge fattie, but jumping up and down, and you'd see why I had to lose some weight..

MjinZ,, you're the worst type,, you can't take your own advice, and you dream up excuses daily to delude yourself and others. 🙁

When was the last time you moved something heavy on a regular interval.

But now i'm on your side,, and we can crusade for fatness. 😕

Eh.... Well, cutting out 100% of your daily carb intake, as in, eating zero or as minimal as possible... is kind of a bad idea.
You should have some carbs...

And carbs won't really get put into your love handle... you're body won't really store sugar as sugar - it's the fat in the diet (or molecules converted into a fat) that will get stored in the body. Too many carbs means the body will burn all the carbs before moving into burning any fat, which can mean a large portion of the consumed fats will be stored, instead of used.

Especially if one is a lazy individual, because less physical work means less biological necessity for fat. Fatty acids are cellular building blocks, as well as involved in other aspects of repair in the body - not necessarily all fat is simply energy, which is why carbs, and more importantly glucose is needed - if the body has to use fat for biological energy, then little fat is actually being used for the various things for which lipids are needed.

Dependent upon actual lifestyle choices, there is an ideal ratio of fats:carbohydrates😛roteins, as if the body is used more regularly, the body definitely needs a healthy amount of lipids and amino acids dedicated to cellular repair and efficient energy transfer for a specific style of metabolic function, and a fair amount of carbohydrates are needed to function as raw energy, so that the other nutritional compounds can be used for their main purpose.

If you live a more sedentary lifestyle, you definitely want to avoid consuming a large amount of carbohydrates - it's actually quite simple.

I'm asian taking rice away from meis like making me stop eating meat. I refuse to antsy I losta ton of weight by exercising.tung and lifting I didn't really change my eating habits much.I gained weight but lost belly. I went from 36 to a 34.I have a big build so even that if enough for me to look fairly skim

Common sense isn't common, so rather than changing their food consumption from a bushel of french fries and 55-gallon drum of soda with their triple bacon cheeseburger, fried sugar, and hot fudge sundae to smaller portions of their favorite foods... too many people are looking for a magic bullet.

Eating less simply hasn't crossed their minds.

No refined carb,, is the fucking magic bullet.... it even sounds like one...

I'm reasoning that people are addicts.. Glad I overcame mine,, but enough about that..

Which is why I quoted my own self sacrific.. note picture above, also azn....

The good part for me i suppose was, I never ACTUALLY liked rice growing up. It was forced on me by my parents.. they'd beat me if I didn't eat it. :colbert:

I like rice. I usually cook my rice in chicken stock and add some italian seasoning with some butter. Quick, easy, and tasty side dish. Jasmine or Basmati are the types I usually use.

eating less isn't the magic bullet either. you will lose weight for a while then your body metabolism will adjust and it will stop. So then what? eat even less and less until your metabolism comes to a crawl?:colbert:

force of habit. because they always get lost or deleted if I don't do this.

I await your UPDATE pic

Also,,, how much do... you weigh

Another part of the reason I did the low carb was for acne,, it's true that I didn't have many BEFORE, but, i have NONE now that I did low carb...

I honestly thought that an ACNE cure would be worth it to most of the guys NO scoring because of their poor complexion.

I notice that my asian buddies who eat tons of refined carbs also have the WORST acne problem, cystic... ugh....

And the Fob ones with bad acne spends 10000x dollars on facial care products, and NONE of it works,, because none of it will make you eat less rice / bread
