I tried to run "setiqueue-i" in my SetiQ pc, but it didn't work, why?

I'm running my Q in this PIII 1 GHZ, with Win98SE, and when I tried to ran it as a service, I have a error saying something like "could not run that command or could not recognize that command".
What did I do wrong? I thought that "setiqueue-I"was the command to run it as a service for Win98.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Best regards

I don't know how it works under Win98. But I am pretty sure you will have to type it under a command console instead of Start > Run.

You would type "C:\Program Files\Seti@home\SetiQueue\Setiqueue.exe" -i from Start -> Run i believe 🙂 (Corrected, thanks Rattledagger)

Then reboot and check that setiqueue is running 🙂

Just make sure you set up all the settings you cannot get to from the http interface before you install as a service 🙂

To get setiqueue -i to work, delete win98se, and install an NT-based os. 🙂

Like most other services, setiqueue's demands NT.

Well, this will give an error-message about "can't find file..."
You must move the second " to before -i 🙂

I simply run the MSDOS command windows, change directory to your setiqueue location and issue a setiqueue -i🙂
