I tore my interconnect board and now I have no sound

Bad pictures, can't really see what happened. Did you rip off the connector that clamps down on the little ribbon cable?

Google the part number and try to find a new one. Or, if the contacts look decent, try to solder it (at your own risk).

unfortunately its next to impossible to re-attach that as its surface soldered to the board. you would have to get a replacement board, apple calls it the interconnect board apple part number 922-7320, should be-able to get it from mac service shops in the area.. probably run you around $30-35 or you can check online

From what i could tell from your pictures it will be. there is only 2 other styles one for the older g4 mac minis and one for the new 2009 and they are both different that the pictures
