To have a KB without wires? I realize this is a difficult concept to grasp...

Haha. It also makes things easier when you have a smaller desk in college.

Whenever I need to study at my desk, I just lift up my wireless mouse and keyboard and chuck 'em on my bed. Sometimes I'll take my wireless keyboard onto my bed so I can lay down while I'm about.

Considering, between this one (which I got free from an RMA) and my old Logitech combo I had (which I RMA'd), for $50, I got a combo that has lasted for over 3 years now.

As far as batteries, I change the mouse roughly once every 1.5-2 months. It's been over 3 months since I last changed the keyboard batteries.

I have a Logitec Cordless Elite keyboard that will be 3yrs old in October and i am still using the original batteries that came with the keyboard. This is the best keyboard ever! :p

My mouse is a Logitech cordless trackman FX which is probably going on 4-5yrs old and i replace the battery (one AA) in it about every 4-5 months.

I'm at my computer at least 5hrs/day. I used to play EQ2 and if i was awake, i was at my computer playing. I seemed to change the batteries in the mouse about every 3 months when i was playing EQ2 at least 12hrs/day. :)

Thank god i canceled EQ2 and i dont think i will ever play another MMORPG again! No one should spend 12+hrs/day for 1.5yrs of their life sitting and playing a computer game! :D

I switched to a MX1000 after the USB cable in my Intellimouse 3.0a died for the umpteenth time. Damn glad I did, wireless is much more convienent. Now if I could find a wireless ergonomic keyboard that isn't from Ghetto Bob's bargain hardware I'd be all set.

pff try naxx :p

i use g15 with g7 combo myself. I love my moue :)

AQ40 is destroying my guild, I think. lol. we're getting 50 sign-ups for BWL and 20-some for AQ40. hah. I can't wait for 25-man raids.

AQ40's not destroying your guild, your guild just has a lot of loot whores who don't wanna put in the effort to go through the process of learning how to beat AQ40. I've seen it happen w/ my guild. When we got AQ40 on farm, all the loot whores starts coming to the raid. Don't do sign-ups. Just post the raid schedule and add people to raid on 1st come 1st serve basis.

I think AQ40 can destroy some guilds - especially if they are used to taking a few attempts then mastering an instance, like MC and BWL. From what I hear, AQ40 takes an exponentially higher level of effort and committment to master. I think many of the top guilds on my server actually skipped AQ40 (Twin Emps and C'thun) and moved on to Naxx as a replacement.

But alas, I run with PuGs and friends in AQ20 and ZG, so I have no first-hand knowledge.

Wireless mice like the MX1000 are TOO HEAVY.
The G7 is better.
I tried an evolution and like the ergo but its radio is messed up big time. It cannot deal with a lot of other equipment using RF around it.
The G5 is probably the best bet even if it's tethered. The weight pocket is funny as it's the same thing as the battery pack holder on the G7.

Oh and I've come to the conclusion that Logitech keyboards are crap. The G15 (with heavy use) wears down so you have essentially an alien looking thing with buttons with glowing stars in the middle. :Q

A can of coke did a G15 in last May and I switched to a Dell MM keyboard that I've been using ever since. The spacebar has developed a slight squeak but I attribute that to the ocean air. :D

I've been using a wireless keyboard and mouse for well over 5 years... however, after having my keyboard run out of batteries in the middle of a BWL boss fight last week, I decided to make the switch.

I bought a logitech G15 keyboard, which is great, and a G5 mouse which is, well... not. I'm kinda stupified by the lack of buttons on it. there's just a single thumb button and the tilt wheel. I guess I'm just way too used to my current mouse, which has 2 thumb buttons and an additional 3 buttons on the mouse surface that can be programmed for anything. I also really hate the plastic its made from... it's got this weird texture, and I totally can't tell the difference between laser and optical, even in FPS's.

so I'm going to return the G5, but anyone have any recomendations for what to get instead? I was thinking about an MX518, but are those 3 top buttons actual function buttons or are they just dpi adjustment buttons like the two on the G5?

ive got the g15 kb and mx1000 mouse...mouse has held up great for a year..never dies on me when i game (but i dont game for over 5+ hours at a time) and the keyboard is the best ive used todate...i love all the macros and ****** you can program into it ..the LCD is a nice touch too

Do those of you who use wired mice ever have the problem where the cord will fall behind the desk and/or catch on the edge of it, leaving you with no cord slack on the table? This gets annoying and is one of the reasons why I have been thinking about switching to a wireless mouse. Right now I part of the cord pinned under one of my speakers on the desk to guarantee I always have enough slack in the cord, but it still gets annoying.

World of Warcraft belongs to Blizzard. Blizzard executives signed the statements. They agreed to research the development of an addictive video game, they signed more papers, and the game was speedily bought into mass production after core development and many enhancement features.

Obviously, the people who chose to buy and install the game are the ones who have ruined their own lives.

Blizzard wanted to make profit, more money on net growth over the cost of development. Gamers wanted to make a different kinda profit, called joy over spending time on other things.

I regret playing D2 for over a hundred freakin' hours. At the same time I am thankful that I got bored of it 'cuz of the sucky repetitiveness.

"wow ruines lives."

I couldn't agree more. My friend at work, his communication skills sucks compared to a lot of people I know, he's a video game addict, obviously.

In conclusion, I agree that people who play too many video games are intelligent, but can't compare to society when someone decides to beat them up over a game of DDR.

Let's DDR MAX!
