I took a stranded passenger into my home on 911.

I went to classes and then watched things unfold on TV.

My friend and roomate got punched in the face and called a sand n1gger because he's Burmese....fvckin' a$$holes.

Finished getting dressed then went into work. Watched TV at work and tried in vain to access news sites. After the towers collapsed the Governor's office decided the agency I worked for could somehow be a priority target (very, very unlikely) and sent all non essential workers home. Went over to a friend's house and watched a lot of TV after that.

Heh, the fvcking racists didn't even know their geography:

Burma's religious stats:
Religions:

Buddhist 89%, Christian 4% (Baptist 3%, Roman Catholic 1%), Muslim 4%, animist 1%, other 2%

I was thinking the same thing. I have a friend that is from palastine(i think) and his sisters had to be taken home by police escort because idiots were threatening to kill them.

Noone knew who flew the planes until that evening when bush said it was alqeda.

people kinda suspected it came from the middle east/arab regions because of the 1st world trade center bombing.

Chicken?

I awoke to my mother calling my apartment and informing me that THE NATION WAS UNDER ATTACK, in those exact words. Her phrasing made my first thought about where I could find a gun to help fight off some sort of large-scale invasion (I honestly thought it was Canada). This was actually probably the best way I could have received the news, because when you think you're going to be spending the day shooting at people from a makeshift bunker in your complex's laundry room, well... planes having already run into buildings seems somewhat less scary by comparison. Ended up going down the street to my friend's house and playing The September 11th Drinking Game after we found out we were not expected to come in to work.

Got sent home early so decided to have friends over that got sent home early also and get drunk while watching the news.

i think i was still sleeping in bed w/ my gf at the time (now ex-gf)...

then when i finally got up and turned on the tv i was like "whoa..."

she and i then proceeded to skip our classes to hear the news...

I got laid off, by my bosses from Afghanistan. 🙁

Think I'm kidding?
They denied anything was going on with the company, strung us along, while our paychecks got smaller and smaller, then today..BOOM, all of the inventory was gone, and we received our final paychecks...no severance pay, or anything. Fvckers! :|

I didn't do sh1t 5 years ago, I was locked into my dorms accross the river. Now I'm on deployment #2 with the Army.

I was surprised the backlash against Muslims wasn't worse. After all, lots of arab muslims sure hate us.

the muslims here are 'us' fool. :disgust:

I am aware of that, dumbass. During WWII, the Japanese-Americans were sent off to internment camp. And they're considered 'us' too, dipshit.

And it was WRONG!

when night came my wife and I sat in our hot tub and just looked at the sky absent of any commercial aircraft going into DIA. the only planes we saw were flights of F-16's.
