I thought "The Interview" sucked

My wife and I watched it. The beg was good. Most of the movie was corny jokes and both of the main actors acted like "The Three Stooges". It's sad that Sony might have gotten hacked over this movie.

It would have been better and more controversial if they had made a fictional drama on the assassination of Kim Jung Un.

It a corny comedy about the assassination. It would have been better as a political drama about the assassination. A "procedural correct" way to do it. Some of the aspects of the movie were just quite stupid.

On another note, that was the only part of the movie that was actually good. It was probably the part that pissed NK off the biggest.

I was going to download it and watch it just as a giant "FUCK YOU" to Sony, North Korea and the MPAA. Then I remembered that the trailer looked shitty and while it's often easy to create a decent trailer for a bad comedy it's nearly impossible to create a bad trailer for a good comedy. So I came to my senses and realized that if I downloaded and watched a bad movie just to say "FUCK YOU" to three groups I hate it would instead be saying "FUCK YOU" to myself. If I want to watch a comedy tonight I'll go with Airplane! for the 517th time.

Yea one of the e-mails that leaked asked that nobody from the movie come to help promote it in their region. Seemed sony knew it was a turd so all this publicity has probably helped. Not sure if it will make its money back but much better chance now.

Apparently it grossed 1M. Idk how much was spent to produce this thing, but I"m sure it was a hell of a lot more than 1M.

I believe it's a 5.99 rental on Youtube and most everyone has downloaded the thing of various torrents. I know I didn't pay 5.99.
