Guess Faux News didn't get the memo...

I watched the cable news channels last night to see some of the storm coverage and how the individual stations handled the coverage. Imagine my surprise going to Faux and seeing them ignore the storm and carrying on with the Romney campaigning. Pundits on CNN and MSNBC were covering the storm, but good ole Faux was in full campaign mode.

Stay classy Fox News. o_O

Yep - just had the the largest natural disaster in US history, 70+ people dead. What is the #1 story on Foxnews.com?

A story on Benghazi.

Fuck them. Just like Fast and Furious, they will continue to ignore more important current events so that they can continue to push their Anti-Obama agenda.

How many times do we need to see a sweeping camera view of a broken rollercoaster and sand in the streets? I'm happy to hear something other than Sandy news. Too bad the only place is Fox running other stories, I don't want to hear their crap.

Not even close, by a long shot. There have been atleast 4 differen't storms that have had death totals over 1000.

1900 - Hurricane Galveston TX - 6,000-12,000 Dead
1928 - Hurricane Florida/Puerto Rico - 3,000+ Dead
1893 - Hurricane Louisiana - 2,000 Dead

Even more from Tornado, Blizzard and Flood with death tolls in the Hundreds.

So, which is more important, Most far reaching recent storm event in the U.S., or beating the drums for Romney and bashing the president?
We know what your answer will be apparently.

And the last one was 80 years ago. There is a reason we don't have thousands dead and that is because of technology not because the storm is insignificant. I think its fine if they choose not to cover the storm but that in favor 30th day of Benghazi coverage (i didn't watch so I don't know how much coverage they devoted to either) is pretty retarded.

Largest natural disaster in U.S. history.

What a fucking lying piece of garbage you are. A blatant lie in any way you look at it. Just show one organization that claims this is the worst natural disaster in U.S. history. You Democrats just can't stop lying can you?

The largest disaster this country has ever had is in the White House.

Fox news is a joke. I can't believe some people will "only" watch a news channel that endorses one party and one party only.

Especially the one party has shown terrible governing records in contemporary political scene.

Why is the Libya attack so important?

No one in Romney/Ryan camp or Fox News has a clue what happened, nor should they be informed. This is national security. All the President can do is go find the m$^#^# F#@@% and blow their head off Navy Seal style. What's left to say about that?

It seems that the republicans "think" they can stop "all" terrorist attacks in the future. WTF kind of voodoo are they practicing? Fact is no one could've predicted the outcome and changed the outcome. Every security moves has its consequences. All the political none-sense on Libya is sickening to me. Why not just tell the nation how the republicans will run the nation and differentiate themselves from the extreme right wingers? That might actually get my vote.

Hell, I'm a partisan, but he'd be a fool not resume campaigning at this point and I wouldn't hold it against him.

I'm already sick and tired of the storm news so if I had to look online for news, it would have been fox. Seriously, we get it. There was a horrible storm and many people lost their lives. The same people who decided to live on the coast for the most part, but still, yes, its a tragedy and sucks horribly.

70 some and counting lost their lives. It makes me sad. Every station across the country has been reporting on it though and most people are sick of seeing nothing but hurricane stories.

Now, lets focus on the election. There will be plenty of time to watch the hurricane aftermath after the election if anyone really cares about it anymore.

OMG!!!!!! FoxNews reported on something their viewers have an interest.

I find it so funny I learn more about what FoxNews is reporting and Rush Limbaugh has said in this forum and most of the time it posted by someone who supports the left. I'm beginning to think the reason Fox viewership rating number 1 because so many from the left watches Fox.

I learned that there were at least 2 formal requests for additional security by Ambassador Stevens that were seen by Obama (well, seen if he was actually doing his job) that were never acted on.

Largest for the Northeast maybe, US history? Hah...

What would you have said during the 1950s when the Northeast was raked multiple times? Sandy may have bested those, but it was certainly no major Hurricane.

You don't know history, be it Galveston, TX 1900 or Gulfport, MS 2005. Sandy was a mere Cat1 and you just called it worse than Cat3+ strikes. How, in your mind, did you just compare it to Katrina?

Considering I watch 4 different news channels ALL DAY at work I find this funny. CNN has been covering Sandy almost non stop, MSNBC has been roughly 70-30 in favor of the storm and Fox has been 85-15 in favor of Bengahzi.

This is the week before an election, the pundits at Fox are pulling out all stops and to be quite frank with everyone here I cheerish the moment after the results come in if Romney loses when I will do nothing but listen to conservative pundits ranting.

"Music, sweet music...."

I am DEFINATELY going to be calling into the following radio shows;

Hannity (over and over again)
Wilkow Majority
Rush Limbaugh

and I will try to get through on Fox and Friends and possibly "The Five" if they take callers.
