I'm not sure where I was supposed to post this but here goes...
K, on tuesday morning I needed some parts that I absolutely NEEDED by wedensday. I called them up and made sure everything was in stock and that they could ship it the same day overnight. I spent the extra 35 bucks for overnight. It's now friday, no parts, and I called them up and much to my surprise the lady said - oh we'll get that out today. wtf?? Fedex doesn't ship on saturdays and I won't even get the parts till monday at the earliest. ahhh!!! I checked the boards for the most reliable online store and everyone said newegg...i think? Newegg is supposed to be good right? maybe I misread?? am i going crazy?
 
Their rating on RR says they're good (6.6/7.0), & I've never had a bad experience with them.

However...

Even the best sometimes eff up.

Well the least they could do is ship it overnight and not charge me the extra 35 bucks...wouldn't you agree??
 
Well................it kind of depends upon how you handle/handled the situation.................what did you say to the CS person???? Did you suggest to them that since they made a mistake and you needed it "overnight" perhaps they could ship it free or at reduced cost? Were you nice to the person on the phone or short off????

Most of the time I've found that being nice, then explaining the situation and asking them nicely if they would now deduct the shipping since it was their fault will get me much further than yelling at them and making the other person defensive and mad................😉 Might want to call back and try!😉
 
I have noticed on every order Ive done with Newegg.com, it takes them about 2 days to get it through processing and shipped, even when ive done overnight.
Mwave.com has repeatedly sent out the next day when doing FedEx 2 day, just seems that there porcessing is faster.
--bar any problems with ship to address and/or credit pard
 
I haven't spoken to them yet about it. I did notice their processing time before ordering and that's why I called and MADE SURE this wouldn't happen. If it takes 2-3 days for newegg to process these things why does everyone like them so much? That's ridiculous - most places take 1 day at the most..and alot of them ship the same day..sheesh

newegg usually had the cheapest prices, thats why i buy from them, but a few times i bought from newegg and mwave and mwave did get here alot faster (i think like 2 days).
