its pretty nice that HP uses the nforce2 instead of say a Km333 VIA chipset.

you could easily build that pc for a lower price...

not bad if you want one prebuilt... though HP's service is pretty much non existant too

anyone know if we can get that without xp home? I go to UCLA and I get XP pro and win2k3 ...i dont need xp home...this would be such a great deal if they'd knock off some money for not including xp home...

Edit: Nm...they wont let me do it; they just said the xp home is included and they won't decrease the price any...but still for 350$ this is a great deal.

i dont get why everyone thinks HP's service is so bad, their turnaround is 4 days.

yes i am biased, i worked at the service facility. but i think this reputation is very undeserved.

the only thing they have that is bad, is the service number is not toll free, but it also only has a 5 minute wait

Umm... HP has had a toll free service number for several months now.... Its 1800 or 1888 HPINVENT

It's not a bad deal, don't let the threadcrapper run you off.
HP's support hasn't been any worse in my experience than the rest of them.
They're all pretty much useless.
