I thought I had the flu or at worst a UTI

Get someone to bring you some cookies for our bedside; things go much better when you lay out some "Nurse Bait."

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Hope it's nothing serious. My husband just went through the kidney stone thing and it wasn't a lot of fun. I'd say to just try and get some rest, but that's nigh on to impossible in a hospital. Sending good thoughts your way.

Rough man. Wish you the best. I'm thankful all the time for how lucky I've been with my health. I can't imagine having to stay even one night in a hospital. Eek.

Whoa, that sounds pretty nasty. Hope you recover quickly, vi edit.

Is visgf supervising your meds? 🙂

Well I'm out of the OR. Everything checked out good. If I had a stone, I passed it at some point yesterday.

Other than a nasty taste in my mouth from the anethesia I'm doing good. Going home tonight with a bottle of vicodin 😀

Will be sure to get extra T&A err T&L from the wifey over the next few days.

😉

Glad to hear everything worked out! After having spent 28 days in the hospital for a brain abscess, I can empathize with the ordeal...

A common treatment for kidney stones in Poland is to drink beer and run up a stairwell. This is one of the most amusing medical treatments a guy could ever have.

I pissed razors for a day and a half after having my urethra violated and I'm still a little pooped from a rough couple days. But otherwise I'm fine.

🙂

Thanks for the support everyone.

Good news...enjoy your vicodin but don't get hooked on it.🙂

Glad you're ok. Being in a hospital really sucks. Although it is torture at the time, fortunately, at least in my experiences, you don't remember much from the ordeals.
