I'd rather a president have integrity than charm.

Then you have no reason to complain. You've got both. 😎

No, I don't. You may, but only because your definition of integrity has been twisted and biased along party lines. I'm sure I could take the time to post examples of instances where Obama has blatantly lacked integrity, but if you haven't seen them yet, then you never will. I say this because the best and most merited criticism of Obama has come from the left, not the right. So unless you spend your evenings or mornings listening to Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, you'd have seen the light by now.

Hey bamacre, tell us again how Obama is different integrity-wise from Ron Paul?

Either you don't know what "integrity" means, or you don't know who Ron Paul is.

But the comparison is irrelevant, IMO, because Ron Paul isn't president, Obama is, and that's who we are talking about.

I'm just glad he didn't make a smirk with a quick "heh heh" and then follow it with some fake, Texas joke.

rofl. OK, so Obama and McCain have no integrity, but Ron Paul does?

You Paulbots are so transparent. Next you'll be telling us Paul doesn't believe in evolution because he has "integrity", or that he runs as a Republican (when he's really a Libertarian) because he has "integrity". It can't be because he wants to win elections. It just can't!!

I like it when Obama talks about bipartisanship and then never demonstrates that he knows the meaning of the word in his actions.

What's the point? The (R)'s have made it perfectly clear they will oppose everything he tries to do.

This world would be a lot simpler if the Rs and Ds would just beat each other to death already. All this nonsensical bickering, and not a single logical point made by either side. Debate has been completely replaced by irrational fear and hatred, and the screaming that accompanies these emotions. People who want to have a legitimate discussion about the issues have to resort to talking to people who already agree with them, because if they seek out a dissenting opinion, all they get is ad hominem attacks and "YOU LIE!" Both parties should be ashamed. But they egg on their supporters, encouraging the blind partisanship. Kudos to Obama for at least paying lip service to the idea that maybe blind partisanship isn't what this country needs.

Now let's see him put it into practice.

And let's see Republicans do the same.

That will be a cold day in hell 😉

They aren't opposed to his escalation of the war in Afghanistan. They aren't opposed to his failure to close Guantanamo. His support for the continuance of the Patriot Act, war on drugs, DoD budget increase. His idea of "indefinite detention." His failure to increase financial regulation. I could probably go on.

For as much shit as President Obama takes for the right and the far left, he shows alot of class.

I'd rather a president have integrity than charm.

What's that even mean?

He considers him worthless basically.

I've noticed the ron paul-esque folk love to use those broad, non-nonsensical slogans(i/e "I'd rather have a president that believes in freedom".)

Go ahead and say it. It sounds like paradise. It would be the offspring of a perpetual motion machine and heaven.

Sorry to disappoint you.

If only you had integrity to respond like Ron Paul.

Your entire argument here is nothing but straw man, which is nothing new for you, so I'm not shocked. And neither should you be when I don't feel the need to respond, especially when your posts are nothing more than straw man arguments. Sorry to burst your little bubble, but you aren't important to me.

^ Huh? You don't see the relevance in referencing other politician's integrity (be it Paul or McCain or whoever) in an argument about a politician's integrity, eh?

The fact that you can't see the sad, abject hypocrisy in saying Obama has no integrity, while simultaneously claiming Paul does (er, actually sort of wimping out of taking a stance either way), despite irrefutable evidence previously listed, is nowhere near a straw man and absolutely hilarious to point out in the threads you troll in. Get used to it kiddo.
