I'm from Louisiana. I work in the building where Obama gave his address this afternoon.

Kudos to him for staying classy.

Not surprised Jindal was booed, tho. I'm sure most of the people who were eager to see Obama were democrats.

Louisiana deserves whatever happens to it with the insane choices they make in politics.

I was hopeful, but I've been very, VERY disappointed with Obama's about-face on the Patriot act, governmental transparency and accountability, and corporate/healthcare transparency.

No, you want one that parrots your beliefs. You can be as big as scumbag as you want as long as you do it in the name of trickle down economics and the bible. See Nixon, Reagen, Bush 1/2, et al.

Reagan being the best example. I still sit in disbelief when people talk about what a great man he was.

"No, no, Bob is doing a good job," the president told the crowd at the University of New Orleans. "Bobby, if it makes you feel any better i get that all the time," he continued, and the crowd laughed. More seriously, he added, "Even though we have our differences politically, one thing I will say is that this person is working hard on behalf of the state, and you gotta give people credit for working hard."

 to Obama

I like it when Obama talks about bipartisanship and then never demonstrates that he knows the meaning of the word in his actions.

And what is it with the Left making up Rush quotes? People may be getting sued for that already.

Well don't hold your breath for a winning politician with morals.

Oh for 44 so far....

I'd settle for a president that doesn't make me laugh and cringe in horror at the same time.

Pretty hard to hammer Obama so soon after the immediate 2-term predecessor. It just sounds hollow and self-serving...

No, I don't. You may, but only because your definition of integrity has been twisted and biased along party lines. I'm sure I could take the time to post examples of instances where Obama has blatantly lacked integrity, but if you haven't seen them yet, then you never will. I say this because the best and most merited criticism of Obama has come from the left, not the right. So unless you spend your evenings or mornings listening to Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, you'd have seen the light by now.
