I was looking for some speakers for 2 good multimedia systems that I am building. I saw that OM has the logitech z340 speaker for $39.99 ($10 off). I ordered them from OD for $49.99 with the $20 of $75 coupon, found at the thickwallet. Which made my total $83.98 after tax and free shipping. I then called back to office depot and they price matched the speakers to OM. My total then Came to $63 for 2 sets of these speakers including tax and shipping.

2 x 49.99 + tax = $103.98
20 of 75 coupon $83.98
20 price match OM $63.98

the csr did not sound too happy, but she did not give me any trouble. I have a set of these myself, and they seem like good speakers for the money.

What do all of you think?
 
i think these are pretty good speakers. but i thought i seen them for around $50. i could be remembering wrong tho.

If they will let you use the 15 of 30, you will not get free shipping with only one set of speakers. Also, I've read in another post on anandtech that when the 10 of 10 is scanned it will not except it. That would be great if you could get it to work.
 
i got a set of logitech z-540's for 31 bucks at buy.com
came to 48.90 with shipping.
im pretty happy with that. there are still some available i believe.

i was gonna buy this set today so here's what i did...
i checked buy.com and it shows $31 as the price w/o shipping.
i went to logitech's site to check out the specifications of the z-540.
went back to buy.com and the price is now $57.92 with free shipping.

weird coincidence!?
maybe they logged my ip 'coz i already tried deleting my cookies 🙁

 
..argh... just ordered a set of REFURBISHED z340 from justdeals.com ($24.95 + $8.95/shipping)

..would have been better to get NEW z340 from staples (w/PM w/coupon) @ $27.79
 
i just got the z340s yesterday at OM using the 10off$50 coupon in addition with a 50 pack of Imations that were 12.99-11.00rebate= 1.99. My old roommate bought these speakers back in feb. and I was really impressed with their sound (esp. the BASS)...you could definitely piss off your neighbors with the sub turned all the way up. the only drawback in my opinion is the cable between the speakers is too short (like 5 feet)

oops....the 10 off 50 coupon expired YESTERDAY......but I found a 15 off 50 OD coupon....which is even better......🙂
