LOL, this guy just needs to add in a *wink wink* somewhere in the ad and he'd be golden.

I am selling my 2006 Kawasaki ZX-10R--Black on Black. It has been down once, but was mostly saved due to the frame sliders. I have replaced almost all of the plastics with new.

Sorry for no pictures. If you would like to see the bike, it is sitting inbetween 1st and 3rd Streets on N Street NW.

I leave the head unlocked so I can easily move it to the other side of the street when they do the street cleaning. Feel free to push the bike to examine the front-end, etc. Please just leave it in about the same location it was at.

I am rarely home, so if you want to schedule an appt. to hear it run, please send me an email. The bike runs great, very strong. It has a power commander and some other goodies.

EDIT 3/10/09 -------------- Here are some pictures. As of tonight, the bike is located right on the corner of 1st Street NW and N Street NW. Please stop by and check it out.

EDIT 3/12/09 -------------- The bike has approx. 9250 miles on it. I'll include a set of slightly rashed carbon akropovic pipes (not picutred), a rear seat cowl, some extra plastics and a spare tank. The bike comes with a salvage title, but don't let that scare you. It was made salvage from cosmetic damage only, and almost all of the plastics (and the tank) were replaced with new. The bike has been well cared for, always serviced, and always under full coverage insurance. I'm going to be away for the next few days, feel free to check the bike out and then email for an appt. if you're interested.

I hope insurance company nails him for that (assuming its his). Don't know if they can if it's stolen, since he didn't go right out and say "steal it".

yeah, regardless of who it belongs to, kind of a clever way of saying steal it. however, if it isn't his, i think he would still get screwed since he was lying about it being his.

Maybe someone should go there, put up a sign that says "nice try", take a pic, and spread it on the internet. That way idiots are warned agaisnt trying to screw us all over with higher insurance costs.

The ol' "drive it to a bad area and leave it running while you go in a store for an hour" doesnt work anymore?

The Police tried to do a bait car around here one time with that methodology. Far too many people got in the car, took the keys from the ignition and locked them in the trunk to warrant another bait car.

That's funny, was it on the news? Technically wouldn't you be breaking/entering just by doing that? I'd simply leave it alone, but, that's just me.

You're not breaking anything though idk how that would be handled.
