I think this girl just lied to me.... Tell me if you believe

This girl I was hanging out with for about a month and she always said how much she liked me and stuff but she wanted to take things slow. Well she totally disappearred for about a month now, and out of a blue tonight she called me. She gave her reasoning that she didn't have any phone cards(because I'm a long distance call) and her internet is still down (AT&T). What I don't get is that she said her cable modem is down because its incompatible with the new AT&T network. Have you guys heard of anyone else having that problems???

EDIT: I tried calling her during this time but her sister always answered and said she was not home... and I emailed her a few times.

Well, I use Cox not AT&T but cox is transferring all of their users over to their own network after all thats been happening with excite. Well, cox said that they were gonna send me a special package or whatever to get me adjusted properly to their network. I'm not sure what that means, but your woman could be having the same problem.

Note that my cable is still working... most likely that cox hasnt made the switch to their new network yet.

even if she weren't lying, those are pretty half assed excuses. long distance phone calls aren't *that* expensive... i think that if she *really* liked you, she would have called at least to let you know what was going on or something.

i think she found another guy for a month, but then things didn't work out, so she's going to her reserves.
