I think the only reason I pay attention to Tiger Woods is because he is black..

"good"? That's it? Wow, you suck at watching golf then, cuz most people watch him because he's an AMAZING player, best of his time and for years to come. silly them.

Black blood is the most powerful substance in the WURRRRLLLLDDD. One drop makes you WHOLE.

Look at Jason Kidd, he's considered black and he can't have more than 2 or 3 drops of black blood in his WHOLE body. 🙂

Vijay isn't BLACK, he's only dark skinned.

but there was a black player about 20 years ago, i can't remember his name but i remember he wore a hat all the time.

 
everyone keeps talking about how amazing he is...i mean, i take peoples word on that. ive seen him play maybe twice but...eh, golf obviously isnt the sport for me to watch.
 
Yeah... umm.... Tiger Woods is not black(half Thai, half Black American), neither is Vijay (He is Indian)...

The pros sure make golf look easy on TV, you should try it, goto the driving range, etc, then you will appreciate the game(noted I didn't say sport) more.

If you seen him play you'd know he was good. Saw him in one of his Amatuer Championships. Unbelievable. Jaw dropping and I wasn't even that big a golf
fan then.

As for why people don't like him as a golfer, I has everything do with his dominance and thats it. Everyone likes the underdog. Everyone likes to see
the guy on top fail. Probably envy. He does so well, its relieving for all to see him fail, for when he fails, it proves that he is human just like the rest of us.

Tiger consideres himself Cablinasian but that doesn't really matter.

Tiger Woods became famous as a young Prodigy and those who follow golf held a keen interest in his progress, not because he was part Asian (or Blacck) but because he was so good at such a young age. When he went to Stanford the interest in him nationally peaked and when he went pro he was as good as Players who had been on the Pro Circuit for years and who had won. Since then he has surpassed all other Players in Skill Level during most of his career. Right now it seems he is slumping (so is the nature and the hardest sport to master in the world)

His popularity with the mainstream came about due to his age, his skill, his physical appearance (the guy can press over 300 LBS) and the most of by the Ad Campaign by Nike. I can assure you that if a white golfer as young and as attractive as him who was as talented as he is would hit the scene he too would become as poular as Tiger is.
 
I think that Vijay Singh's nationality is actually Fijian, but he grew up an Indian. Don't knwo if that makes sense 🙂

in my opinion, he's also peaked.

In his BEST season as a pro, he won THREE Majors and in ALL three cases SET or MATCHED the course record.

I can't imagine ANYONE or ANYTHING EVER surpassing that kind of dominance.
