Dude, you're giving people from OH, and non-dems, a bad name here. Please back away from the computer and go get some fresh air.

Gas prices are coming down due to increased supply, in part due to refinery issues being resolved, and decreased demand. I'm no lover of Obama, but he aint fixing gas prices in Ohio.

then how do you account for all those tanker trucks, driven by union labor, that have an Obama/Biden 2012 sticker on the trailer and cab?

If that is not fuel being sent to Ohio by Obama, then what is it. ():)

It does raise an interesting point though. How hard will the right be flailing the next two weeks to explain how Obama now has nothing to do with gas prices?

If he can borrow money to waste on a stimulus; he can borrow money to prop down the fuel prices.

In secret meetings with the oil heads. offer to cover up to a $0.50 drop in price with a 10% overhead.

If he can promise the moon to Lockheed to break the law, he can promise Federal funds to cover oil price adjustments.

Against the law; no problem - see immigration amnesty that bypasses Congress.

Grrrr! Now I'm mad at Obama because he's only lowered it to $3.20 here in Iowa. We're a swing state too, dammit. I demand my <$3.00 gas. Now!
Ohio is closer than Iowa.
It takes longer for the trickle down effect to reach.

If lucky, it may make it to Colorado and Nevada the weekend before the election

gas prices have fallen about .60$ in ohio in the last month.

i am thinking because ohio is a "swing state", that somehow the prices are being lowered by the government so that people will think that things are getting better and will vote for democrats and obama

i fully expect the prices will skyrocket after november 6th

If things suddenly change after an obummer win . Which is exactly what I believe . Blood will flow from shore to shiney shore.

So you're saying I should vote Democrat so we can all see lower gas prices? Thanks for the tip!

hmm shit he got's my vote then!

in all honestly i think cheaper gas prices would be great for the economy. people have more money, they are willing to spend more, are willing to drive more.

when gas was cheap i would just drive around. if i seen a store i would go in and look and end up buying something. i spent more money on stuff because of it.

with cheaper gas prices SHOULD (it won't though) fall so people will buy more.

The only drawback is they would stop with the electric cars and alternative fuels. i think that would be a huge mistake.

I demand a gasoline pome.

in an effort to sway those with weak minds
the dems came up with a plan quite sublime
they would lower gas prices in swing voter states
to make up for the fact obama lost the debates

The price of a gallon of unleaded regular is 60 cents cheaper, than it was two weeks ago, down the street here in Indiana.
