Hello everyone,
I've been reading the forums for quite awhile here, and thought I'd go ahead and post my latest quandry. I've been building a new computer, and the CPU temp is varying between 41-51C with a moderate load on the CPU. When I put prime95 on for an hour or so, it jumps up to 61C (the case is peaking at around 38C). Here's my system stats:

Raidmax 868 Metal case w/2 rear 80mm fans, panel 80mm LED fan and one 80mm front fan I just installed (front one is blowing in, rear are blowing out)
Intel P4 2.4C/800 FSB CPU w/stock heatsink/fan
ASUS P4P800 Standard MB
1 Centon PC2700 DDR 256Meg RAM
PCI PNY MX400 64Meg geforce2 Video Card
40Gig IDE HDD
CDRW
CDRom
FDD

Do you have any recommendations for cooling this system down? I'm afraid to even TRY to clock it unless I can get the temps a lot better or do you think these temps are reasonable?
Summer hasn't even hit here yet (it's in the mid-80F range..it gets up to 115F or so in summertime) so I wanna be sure my system can survive in the heat <G>

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks,

Diana

those temps are nothing to worry about but if you want to cool it down, use a zalman CNPS7000-cu or an slk900/947
