Ever since I've lived in my aptartment, I had basic cable...
It just worked ... "Don't ask, Don't tell" was my theory
Anyways, a couple months ago, the building was sold and the new owners
told everyone they were going to make condos so most people moved out,
since all leases were turned over to month to month with a slight increase in rent.
Turns out, they aren't going to renovate for at least a year so they rented the rest
of the building in about a week, to a bunch of loud dumbasses btw. I found out through some covert tactics the new people are paying alot more rent than us, so thats cool.
Whats not cool is after all these people moved in, my cable is super fuzzy now
like trying to get over the air on a ghetto coat hanger antenna. I did reconnaissance around
the perimeter and noticed an apartment with like 3 cables all split up running into their window.
I think these may be the culprits, but not sure. It could be from someone getting an official
installation form the cable company. Is running busted cable a tactic of the cable company to get people to subscribe? I don't really care about having cable, as the only show I watch regularly is about
to end in two episodes, but still, if someone is jacking my jacked cable, I may have to retalliate.
