Playboy needs to reinvent themselves. I don't know what they can do to keep the "extremely soft-core" image they have (hence make the mag more acceptable to wives and such), but the mag is just DULL. Cool funnies and artwork, some decent interviews, but the pics just bore the crap outta me.

At *some* point, Playboy is supposed to be going the way of Maxim. More stuff, less muff. They are cutting down on the nudity and trying to bring in more celebs and what not.

I'd be surprised if Hef would allow that while he's still alive. Regardless of the prudish nature of many in the U.S., Playboy is a respectable magazine and already has better article content than most (though I tend to despise the editorial slant). The nudity is just an added bonus, and there's nothing prurient about enjoying looking at naked women.
