I think my X1900XTX is FUBAR. *Screenshot added*

I ran my XTX along with a 165@2.7 and 2 maxtor HDD's along with about 7 case fans all on an Antec TP2 430Watt with dual 18a rails, so your PSU should be sufficient - and seeing as FSP is a good, solid group (I am now using their FX-700GLN) I really think, as 5150 said, it's another component.

Try running with just 1 stick of ram first, or perhaps changing the ram slots. Also, try downclocking your CPU. I know it sounds stupid, but when I run my CPU at 2.8, it artifacts like crazy, yet when I turn it down to 2.7, everything is fine.

Seriously, give it a try - downclock your cpu to 2.7 and try. If it doesn't work then, try stock and try.

However, I am not sure how a CPU overclock can affect a GPU at stock clocks, but it did with mine...

I have a 520w OCZ Modstream, not exactly the overclockers' dream PSU and the X1900XT works fine. Granted my first X1900XT artifacted. There were these really long elongated triangles as if the polygons were stretching away from character models. This happened in Oblivion and in the Canyon Flight test of 3DMark. Second one works just fine though I haven't had a chance to really put it through it's paces. Just been so busy. But basically a decent 500w PSU with the proper amps shouldn't be a problem.

I'm running my X1900XTX on an Antec Neo HE 550 watt psu without any problems at all, plus 4 SATA hd's, 2gb's RAM & Opteron 170 @ 2.4ghz and its stable as a rock, so you don't have to go for 600 watts, however it does appear you need more juice then you are getting.
My best guess is that either you are correct & the psu's you have tried so far have problems or its your motherboard thats somhow to blame since 560 watts should be more then enough to cover you if everything is working properly.

Run everything at stock d00d.

CPU, RAM, card.

See how that goes.

Actually, i just looked up the specs on that PSU.

Dual 12V rails @ 15A each likely means less than 30A combined, likely 28A or 26A combined.

Also, apparently, real max is like 461W for that PSU...so yeah...it could certainly be PSU.

And i'd bet it'll run fine with everything at stock too, since non OC-ed = less power use.

I'd say time to get yourself an FSP FX600-GLN :D

Everything is at stock. First thing I tried.

I ran memtest overnight with these new GamerXtreme sticks of RAM and it came up with errors so I thought it was the RAM for sure. I ran memtest in my buddies computer with the same sticks and he came up with no errors. Great. First thing that ran through my mind was a dead memory controller on my OEM CPU with no warranty.

Turns out this whole issue was bad memory timings I got from one of the OCZ guys over at the BleedinEdge Forum.

So everything is running great now, CPU overclocked and everything.

I am having an issue with my XTX and my LCD though. If you guys wanna help me out on that issue Check out my other thread
