My asus p4p800 board would not detect any IDEs except the 2 cd-roms after I hooked an extra HD to it. I unhooked that extra HD and it did not detect anything. I told that to asus and they told me to reset my cmos. I did that and now the monitor will not comeon. It is like the monitor is not even plugged into the video card. I have checked everything over and over. I requested a RMA on 9/11 and still have not heard anything. I sent them an email 9/14. Does it usually take this long?
Also is there anything else that I could try, like maybe one of you guys have had this same problem? Yesterday I reset the cmos for the I don't know how many times and the monitor turned on. I hooked up the cd-roms and tried it again and it did not work
