No. Even if I did, they use AT&T's network. More accurately, they sold their regional towers to AT&T and in return they "roam" on AT&T for free.

Get the Captivate. I think the $350 off-contract rumors are bullshit, but I don't think it will be much above $400.

I pay $15 a month (prepaid) for unlimited texts, and 10 cents a minute with tmobile. Not quite as good, but it's a major(ish) carrier.

If you get a TMo phone, 3G won't work on AT&T towers, there is one decent AT&T option-

Although, with data it is $49.98 per month, TMo is $59.99 a month for unlimited text, unlimited data and 500 minutes per month if you BYOD(and you aren't limited to one $530 phone to get decent Android+3G).
