Maybe move out of your parents house and get a real life. Sell your X-Box and start working to support yourself. Find a wife and start a family. Come back and comment then.

Very true. i have a very easy job and am overpaid. heck, i can even take 3hr lunch breaks on Fri to watch the hot movie coming out that week w/o a problem.

unfortunately, i'm not at that point yet where i'm willing to give up this job.

if i ever come to that point, i'm probably going to sell all my possessions, and join the peace corp or something to that nature.

Do you work for the city or state government or something?

I do, and I definitely don't have that kind of time to waste. 🙁 I work more hours than I'm paid for, and usually only take half an hour to eat... in my office, by my phone.

Contractor for psuedo-govt agency. (not, not fannie mae or freddie mac)

Get a hobby. Make ambitious goals. Get frustrated when it takes longer than you want. Stay up late at night working on it.

Off the top of my head - get married/divorced, have a child, change jobs, buy/sell a house - surely one (or more) of these will generate the stress you are missing.

Yet another thinly veiled whoring thread.

Getting a well rounded life will bring you ample amounts of stress.
Financial security means piss.
