who the heck cares how a guy takes a leak?!?! Maybe some guys don't like having piss splash out of the urinal and onto their clothes or all over the seat... I wish more guys would sit when they piss into the bowl because they can't aim at all and always piss everywhere but in the bowl........

Sometimes it sucks standing up and peeing, at least in a regular toilet bowl like at home....and especially if you're barefoot.

When a heavy stream hits that water and you start feeling the "tink tink tink" of liquid hitting the top of your feet, that's gross.

I only do it sitting in the middle of the night, because I don't want to make noise and disturb ppl in my house, otherwise it's easier standing up, just wipe after you go. Only other exception is if I'm taking a dump and I get the need to piss at the same time.

I too prefer to not have to wipe up urine spatterings from all over my bathroom. If I'm outside I of course stand - but why would I ever want to clean up any more urine that I have too?

I also cover my face when I sneeze, as I'd rather not spray stuff on everything.

I put both the seat and cover lid down after I piss. It is a habit I learned because my toilet wouldn't flush if the lid was up because it would get stuck and continually flush. I think its a good habit in the long run...

It's not so much about aim (although there are many men that fail to do even this). Falling water splatters when it hits other water. You might have good aim but that's not going to stop piss and toilet water from splattering on your toilet and floor. Sitting down saves me some cleaning as I can go longer before my toilet needs cleaning.
