I generally use 10-15 packets for a large fry, myself. Drives the wife crazy.

Other things I have been known to put ketchup on (mostly when I was younger):

mac and cheese
steak
white rice
mashed potatos

1 packet is enough for about 5 fries for me.

Yes... but - anything is good with ketsup, is better with barbeque sauce. (Mostly. Anyone want to list some counter-examples?) For example, I even put barbeque sauce on corn on the cob, instead of butter, sometimes. Mmmm, good!

ill just say that BBQ sauce on eggs is WORSE that ketchup on eggs, and thats pretty damn hard to bead seeing as ketchup on eggs is about as tasty as eating sh!t
