I think I've discovered the way to solve our nation's energy problems

This nation has three-year olds. Thousands upon thousands of three-year olds. More are being produced everyday. These natural resources are boundless in energy; able to run, play, and talk non-stop for hours a day with barely any slowdown at all. Sugar and other candy like substances causes bursts of energy 10x their normal levels.

I propose that we find a way to extract and harness this boundless energy supply to end our nation's dependence on fossil fuels.

Say NO to Big Oil! Say YES to Big Kindergarten!

I agree.

Put them all in a bunch of hamster wheels, slap a twinke in front of them and power the whole country!

We'd never be able to control it. If you think Chernobyl was bad, think of the devastation if a few million three-year-olds had meltdowns at once. :Q

my son is 2.5 and good god that boy has energy.. if he wanted to just run and run in a hamster wheel, we could probably power our house

Yep. Right now my son is starting to remind me of Sniffles the Mouse from the older Looney Toon shorts. He's been bouncing all over the place while talking incessantly at the same time. The amount of energy he displays even after playing with him in the backyard, taking him for a bike ride, and more just leaves me mesmerised.
