stupid ppl want way to much for their cars.

Firebird Formulas are nice, but ppl want double their value. if you find a WS6 formula i understand, but not a reg. one.

Z28's are somwhat the same deal, but not quite as bad.

TA's are just insane

SS's are also insane.

WS6 TA's are pretty high up there too.

It takes patience to find the right seller who *NEEDS* to sell the car. Their asking price means nothing if you can find out some of the backstory as to why they are getting rid of it.

Wait till they're reintroduced, or buy a 'Stang instead. No way I'd buy a used sports car, unless I was prepared to replace the entire drive train soon after.

to bad its #17 out of 232. and has 36K miles. :(

owner wants 16k.

and ornery, when you cant afford new, and are limited to about 10 grand im assuming will be my completely highend limit, you cant really find a new sports car that cheap.

Thats what happends to cars when they quit making them new. All the other ones become more sought after and hold their resale more. Edit mainly happends to sports/muscle cars. Wont happen to yugo or daewoo.

In your search I hope you are looking at newspaper classified ads throughout your area as well. Generally online sites seem to be saturated with dealers, almost guaranteed to pay more than the same car with an individual selling it. Individuals tend to advertise in newspapers and even just for sale signs, so cruise around and see what you can find.

My dad used to sell cars, so as I said, you need to learn the reason they are selling the car and how urgently they need to sell it. Its impossible to say what price you can get without trying for it, but you will find that kind of seller in print publications generally.

im not at home yet so i cant look at the local papers, but im lookin at autotrader and many websites, but once i get home its off to the local papers.

i remember you. in the same boat as you. 00-02 accord coupe ex 5MT with low miles, single owner is near impossible to find via private party.

i've looked over every alternative that honda and toyota make, and always come back to the same car. i may just have to pony up a few grand for an 04 model.

edit: how long have you been searching for? i'm going on almost 6 months.

Get a police interceptor package crown victoria. They have balls, plus you can pick them up cheap. 2-3 grand.
