My comp is due for a reformat as it is riddled with viruses like the crap that makes my home page gone and loads a blank url search page for prosearch.com. I has been traversing the nethers of the internet for sometime and needs to be cleaned.
I haven't checked my hotmail in a few days because the last time I went there I noticed my email address was not saved in the top field, as it normally is, and second the url had changed. From "loginet.passport.whatever", it changed to "http://login.live.com/login.srf?id=2&sv...1&fsat=1296000&lc=1033&_lang=EN&vv=400 "
I'm wondering if prople can verify this is the url they get when going to hotmail now. I get it on a different comp on my lan as well so maybe my external IP is targeted?
I'm paranoid because I know somone may be trying to spoof, if that's the correct term, by creating a fake hotmail login and get my info. I'd prefer they didn't Thanks.
